Two of these were reduced in asda today so thought I would try them. Seen pics before and they were white inside with lots of black seeds. Following pic not modified in any way! Delicious too.

Very pretty. What did you think of it?

Scoffed them! Cut each in half and scooped out the flesh with a teaspoon. Tastier than I thought, certainly better tasting than a watermelon! Regarding the seed, I don't really have room for a huge cactus!

There are dwarf varieties of dragon fruit the flesh is either yellow or orange and sometimes white. The regular ones have flesh that is red or white.

Sounds a bit bland.
Watermelon are very over-rated but are good and colourful in a salad.

I am growing 2 plants of Dragon Fruit, but they are still small. I propagated the smaller one myself and it has rooted and put on new growth.

Will they eventually grow as big as the one in Fractal's photo Cherry?

I don't know to be honest SueA, but the nursery said the one they sold me was a few years old. It is still small and does not look as if it could hold a fruit of the size of a dragon fruit. It is from this one that I took the small one and potted it on. It is a really ugly plant. However, it should grow here.

They look interesting, the fruits seem to grow off what look like the leaves? If yours are only small Isla might be grown up by the time they fruit Cherry!
