Your Fritillaria are lovely SteveN, way ahead of mine which are only just showing through the ground South facing raised bed at back of the house so warmest spot for them.

I've got a Crown Imperial about 3" above the ground now I've got them in pots in the greenhouse, but they aren't even showing yet

They look good SteveN. I can't see mine at all because there is moss and detritus in their area. The similar Assyrican Fritillarias which are in a large pot are up though.

Should snakes head Fritillaria be showing by now? I had lots of them in the orchard but I can't see any this year, I keep hoping it is because it is still too early.

It is possibly early if they are in an exposed area WF. They pop up almost overnight. The michailovskyi are not showing, but the assyriaca are in a pot. Steve said his are in a warmish area. They are lovely little flowers for us to look forward to. I have not got the snakeshead, but I had them in Oxfordshire.

The snowdrops were a good two weeks later down there, I'll keep my fingers crossed for the Fritillaria My Ipheon are not flowering yet either, perhaps we are having a slow year down here this year.

I've got a Crown Imperial about 3" above the ground now My 2 yellow Crown Imperials that I've had for a few years are above ground, but no sign of the orange ones I planted last year yet
