It has a good fragrance, too - it's a climber and I planted it by the front gate last summer.

Gorgeous pics. Cherry, 'Handel' looks beautiful! Lovely rose too Geranium. Floydie, I can't grow delphiniums either, the slugs & snails like them too much, maybe yours get eaten as well after they come up?

Pretty rose Peony, pretty border, pretty everything.
Sue and Floydie. That is just about the best you will see the delphiniums, because they grow heavy and tall and no matter how they are propped up, they are guaranteed to lie down and have a rest. I never plant new ones and these don't disappear, but if they do I won't replace them.
I always recommend Aconitums instead. Refined and similar.

Looking good Tel., I love the foxgloves & classic style rose. Is the blue flower a salvia?

Lovely Tel, I like your rose and foxgloves too, you're way ahead with the salvia, mine is still showing no signs of flowers

Fabulous flowers. The foxgloves have flowers all around the stem and the Salvia is beautiful.
What a show in a new garden.
