I agree, I don't like any of the dyed/embellished plants & flowers, there were things with glitter glued onto them at Christmas, they're pretty enough in their natural state, I don't mind a well made artificial plant though, I've got a few of them as I can't manage to kill them! I got a little pot of snowdrops for £1.99 from a farm shop & planted them in an enamel mug (with a drainage hole drilled in it) & put it on the patio table yesterday.

I think these are probably the horrible-est 'embellished' plants I've seen yet. Anyone else come across them? I can't think where I saw them for sale in town... but yuck! www.gardeningexpress.co.uk/h76788-sanseveria-velvet-touchz-collection-of-three-assorted-colours?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7uWo9Iip2QIVFt0bCh1XbQ-4EAkYAiABEgJYA_D_BwEI had a little trip to the GC at Lyonshall today - I was fairly well behaved, purchase-wise. I resisted all the beautiful bulbs in pots, as I know i'll have them in the garden in a few weeks. Got a white Cyclamen coum to put in with the pink ones already in the garden (so dainty) and a couple of packs of pansies on offer. Also VERY happy to get a rather nice 'Freckles' type Paphiopedilum slipper orchid, in flower, for £13 - bargain. I've seen the same for £60 at Wyevale - no joke, the only difference being it was in a big gift box!

I couldn't get your link to work either Bess so I typed the name & found the product but when you copy & paste it won't let you link, probably because it's out of stock/season, you're right though - they are awful!

That's odd - I've had problems posting links on here recently. Yet, I can click on the link from my previous post myself and it pops up with the "Sanseveria Velvet Touchz" page. (Yuck!) If I do it like this - using the link button provided - does it work for you please? (Different link) www.bakker.com/en-gb/p/sansevieria-velvet-touchz-in-3-col-M45985Maybe it's cos I've changed to Chrome recently.

My older half-brother used to call me 'Little Weed' from Bill & Ben when I was young as I was so skinny, perhaps that's why I don't mind dandelions!
