There's a nice little garden centre near the dentist I go to, and after my check up I went there (just for a look ) and bought a perennial Rudbeckia. It's still in the car so when I get it out tomorrow I'll be able to tell you its full name.
I also bought some miniature Narcissus bulbs. Don't know when I'll get around to planting them I haven't planted any bulbs this autumn yet

I haven't planted any of mine yet either Eli, I got a pack of narcissus 'Rip Van Winkle' at the weekend & buy one get free Tete-a-Tete ones. I'll probably put them in pots & baskets when I get around to it & I received a spring bulb & blue & white bulb collections 'free' from G.World mag./Hayloft Plants yesterday (plus my stash in the cupboards!) so have plenty to find homes for.

This is a "classic" Eli. I have one, its about 10 years old and has not spread too much. Its a good "do-er" and is not to high either. @derek Brookes has a piece of it too....wonder if he still has it...

Bought a sack of mixed Daffodil bulbs and a few other packs of bulbs......to add to my ever growing mountain of assorted ones waiting to get planted. I must resist!! Jellybeans, I have recorded in my garden file, two years running. "DO NOT BUY ANY BULBS, YOU WON`T PLANT THEM " and yet here I am again having ordered cheap tulips from a T&M offer and then I saw bags of daffs in Lidl well.............. just made a new note in my garden file, "PLANT THE BULBS NOW! " I wonder if I will ?

I have been staying with a relative who is recovering from surgery for the last couple of weeks.....so those bulbs are still waiting back home to be planted.....not sure if they will at this rate!. Will attempt a massive bulb planting session when I return home in a couple of week time..hopefully. Do you think we will ever learn ladybird......something makes me doubt it!

They are pretty keith, I love that Nobbio Burgundy one. We called in at High Legh nursery yesterday & I got a pack of 6 assorted heathers for £6, 2 white cyclamen for 50p each & a tray of yellow violas for £1 from their reduced to clear section.

I haven't bought anything but when I was at the recycling tip, I saw the nice branch of a hardy Fuchsia 'Lady Thumb' lying on the road by my car. It must have fallen out of someone else's bag, so I picked it up and brought it home.
I am going to plant it deeply in a sheltered spot and hopefully it will have rooted by the spring, then I can move it to a place where it can be seen
I've already got one 'Lady Thumb' but couldn't take any cuttings from it this year because it hasn't grown very well, but if this one survives I will have two next year
