That Calla is a bit different and if it is fairly local, it might be quite precious and prefer to be brought into the greenhouse in the winter.

What a pretty colour! Did I show you Geranium 'Azure Rush'? I got that at the Show too - I can't remember if I posted it. It's apparently a sport from 'Rozanne'.

Love those primulas Grindle! I wandered down to the local garden centre at the park today & came home with a large lavender Hidcote, perennial lobelia Fan Blue & a red perennial lobelia which I can't remember the name of & the erysimum Bowles Mauve which I went for (for mum-in-law) only came to £13.41 for the lot.

You did well there, Sue! I went off with my list, and did I keep to it? Well - errr...no. I did get the Veronicastrum virginicum, and the b, f & b...and the Salvias 'Mystic Spires' too, but I spotted two very unusual Salvias - a bulleyana 'Blue Lips' and a S. koyamae (which apparently likes shade)! Hmmm...and a Nepeta 'Dawn to Dusk'...and a couple more...oohhh, I was norty. ;D I'll post photos when (if) it ever stops raining.

On our way to B&Q called in a small Nursery/Garden Centre, this had just been sold to the present owner. He was busy potting up plants. I noticed he had quite a few garden dahlia plants, not the bedding kind, got chatting to him about dahlias, found out he loves dahlias and he is now showing some, he said he had a lot to learn. It just so happened i gave this forum a plug, then l left him a note telling him to google the forum, after informing him they are some other dahlia enthusiasts on here. He promised to look in tonight, also told him if he see's any posts by Tel thats me so he would know someone on here. Anyway back to the plant i bought, I purchased a Clematis Alpina for £4.95 from him.
