Yes. We had an Adware infection on the computer and in getting rid of it (took some doing too) we have had to log back in to all our websites. This one will not accept Geumlover again.

Well we knew it was you anyway but glad you got the adware problem sorted & your original name back. P.S. be careful up on that roof!

More roof work yesterday. Found Groundsel, Bramble and another tree growing up there, well hidden behind the chimney. Roof looks a lot better without the moss. When we have cleared it we will spray with WetandForget which claims to keep the roof moss free for 10 years.

I went to East Ruston Old Vicarage with the WI yesterday. It was a full and hot day and as the garden is split up into hedged ‘rooms’ it was really very hot. This is where I bought the interesting Bergenia.
My elder son and his wife are returning today from South Australia, so I am baking madly for the occasion. Why am I always so behind?

Very good quality entries grindle. What a lovely show. Were there many sweet peas? The Downham Market Show has a lot of vases of sweet peas, because the show was started by a sweet pea exhibitor. I don’t think the Downham Mdarket vegetables were as good as yours.

I think there were quite a few Cherry I didn't get time to have a good look at all the entries properly this year as I was ferrying a judge and sitting on the door when we opened to the public, I think it was a good year all round this year

Thank you SueA, I thought I'd reply here. It doesn't really fit into the other thread ... In a few weeks I am to start having help, the social services are going to provide us with a lady who will come and stay with Beryl for 3 hours on some afternoons, so that I can go out without having to rush home. I will be able to go an hour before she arrives and return an hour after she has left, because Beryl is all right for a short while on her own, so I will have 5 hours In all. However I think I will find it strange going on my own, and also rather sad that I will be going out while Beryl is stuck in the house with her disabilities and pain, even though someone will be with her. She doesn't really want someone to be with her all the time lol she is very independent, but she is not able to do much for herself now, and knowing someone is at hand if the need arises will be peace of mind for me. I'm sorry to seem as if I am moaning

I can imagine it will feel strange for both of you at first Eli as you're used to doing everything together & can empathise with Beryl not wanting to rely on others but you never know she may find herself enjoying the company & gaining a new friend.
