That is a beauty WF. A Howard with back tines. I have one which we found here on the farm, but it is really too old to be of any use and you have to be as strong as an ox to use it.

I got some help last night so it is out of the car. I tested the engine before I bought it and it is not seized, some air in the tyres, petrol and a little tinkering should have it up and running. If it is too big for me I'll sell it.

i bought 3 plants from morrisons quick sale table today, a pelargonium, no label, a geum 'lady strathden' and a cupea/cuprea however its spelt, all absolutely nothing wrong with them, 25p each ;D

This isn't mine (mine is still stuck in the car) but this is the same as the one I have. looks a bit like my first one, a Merrytiller (Howard) It was a bit of a tearaway for wanting to do its own thing I found that you needed a bit of space at the ends of the rows just for turning so not really suitable for a small garden. did a good job though once you got used to handling it.
