My brother is very generous with his gifts of seed vouchers, plus lots of people give me seed they have bought and never used (since I had the charity plant sale I`m now known as the flower lady) , unfortunately a lot are a year or two out of date, thought I do still like to give them a chance .
I have 22 varieties of, quite expensive petunia seeds, but sowing a few each year of each I can keep the seed three years carefully in the fridge. Same with tomatoes. I wouldn`t put any out of date seed in the seed swop though.

erm Ladybird do you have a massive garden?
not too big moonlight The back has 4 raised veg beds ( I do plant a few flowers there though, love the colour ) here is a pic : I have done away with the grass at the front, a lot of perennials there now. a few pics of there as it has developed. I just love growing from seed , I give a lot away and do a littly community project with a couple of kids in the summer.

I grew Eccremocarpus home grown seed which I am sure came from Ladybird and it grew, yet the named ones did not. I still have some left although when sheltered it overwinters.
