Thanks everyone, feeling a bit better today - dosed up with Ibuprofen & still drinking very hot/cold things through a straw just in case, I do use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth steve & the dentist did say stick a blob of it over the teeth as well but think I would have needed the full tube the other day! We're on Denplan so pay monthly, just as well as I seem to have been there a lot this year - getting my money's worth for all the past payments made! No gardening but we did pop into a nursery & I got a couple of trays of plants to finish off a few pots.

Was nice enough yesterday, so more cutting down and mulching. Still got 25 or so bags of shreddings to go on though.

A bit of cutting down, weeding and feeding the birds yesterday. Also lifted the dahlia's and put them away for the winter in the garage.

Absolutely nothing, well almost nothing. You're always up to something sweetpea! I didn't do anything in the garden, I did buy a little bag of compost from the local 'Pound & more' store & renewed my subscription to Gardeners' World mag. with Tesco clubcard vouchers though!

Well I did feed the fish, birds and took a few small weed seedlings out of the rockery before they got too big but the rain was stopping any grass cutting and working on the soil.

cut back some of the branches on the acers, pruned the cornus, mainly dead branches and some wayward ones that I can see now the leaves have gone, dug and weeded the bed by the pond, I had intended to put the tulips in there, but kept coming across daffodil bulbs, so I've started them off in pots and will plant them out once I can see the gaps, swept up more leaves, after tomorrow there will be more

It was freezing cold but sunny & dry yesterday so I managed to get a fair bit done in the garden. Took all the plants & old grow-bags out of the greenhouse & swept it & washed down the glass inside. Put the plastic shelving units in & put back the plants I want to over-winter in there. Planted up 2 buckets & 2 small pots on the patio with bulbs & bedding & potted up a few summer plants from them & put them in the greenhouse. Still have lots of bulbs to plant out though but the ground was still very soggy.
