Same here lesley, I've been going stir crazy with all the rain & the lawn is like a mud bath but I went out & trimmed back the red valerian plants along the edges of the drive so that the postman can get past the car without getting soaked & planted out 2 little pinks (25p each in a sale) in the border & felt a bit better.

No ladybird I had someone to do it for me. If I had done it, it would have fallen apart in a few days !

Had the tree man round yesterday to take stock of overgrown trees and shrubs, he won't be able to start work until January, due to a heavy workload, but it will be nice to get everything tamed, I had him do my bay tree when GW filmed so I know he does a good job.

I decided to mow the mud patch/lawn yesterday as we'd had a couple of dry days, looks a mess but at least it's a slightly tidier mess! Cleaned the bird & hedgehog ground feeder trays but the larger one will need replacing soon.
