Dear lesley , yes I thought it was her funeral today. seaburn is so right....you will soon find yourself recalling and laughing over past memories of the times you shared with your Mum. When I lost my Mum ( almost 18 yrs ago in a couple of weeks time) I really thought that I would be unable laugh and enjoy my life again...then suddenly happy memories came flooding into my head!! It still hurts at times , I would be lying to say otherwise, but for me it the anniversaries. I find more joy now in my garden since Dad passed away ( 4 years in May too) , as Mum was such a great gardener, Dad..hmm maybe not quite so but he was good at being guided and instructed by her....he was very much into encouraging wildlife into their garden...well maybe not so much the Herons around his ponds!! So I can guarantee your days will lighten up, just give yourself time to heal. Love and hugs to you and the family x

Well yes that is a good point Cherry .... I've just come in for a warming cup of tea, it is a tad nippy at currently just 8C, but on the plus side we have had occasional lovely sunny spells.
