I thought we might resurrect the vase or jug of flowers thread we had a long time ago. My visitors admired my flowers today, but I did point them out. Does that count? The Antirrhinum came originally from Rosie as seed and comes up every year. It never dies actually and stays in leaf over winter.

Oh very nice, I love Antirrhinums as a cut flower I was admiring the toaster too! My Antirrhnums have got awfully mildewy this year, for some reason, so aren't doing too well.

My Antirrhinums are in a large crack between the front path and the house wall. They don't get water and are reasonably sheltered. I notice a lot of Nigella are nearly flowering here too. I didn't think they were perennial, but perhaps they seed regularly into the cracks.

This particular antirrhinum is the old fashioned one which our grandparents grew. I get loads of seed, but later on of course and I would be happy to post these to anyone. I think it is a good strain, and there is also a white one in there too. One of my reminders of rosie. I want your photos to keep us cheered. I am not doing this for compliments. Sometimes my vase is really tiny. Sometimes, I can only spare one bloom, or it is where no-one will see it.

When its ready I'd love some seed please Cherry, I use Antirrhinums as fillers because the colours are so pretty

Certainly peony. It is highly recommended and I took it to WI a five weeks ago. The ladies could hardly believe that it was in flower so early. It didn't win first prize against some beautiful rhododendrons. Two bunches are going to church next week because I know the stems won't droop, but stay where they are placed.
