Enjoyed a lovely day out meeting up with friends at the Hutts Himalayan Garden last Sunday. Gorgeous Sunday lunch before going to the garden at the Crown Inn in the nearby pretty village of Grewelthorpe (not so pretty a name though). Click on link and excuse my friends two fingered salute in one picture! link

I love the reflections in the lake, with the trees behind, Fractal.

Love the pics. Fractal, looks a good place to visit, I like all the sculptures & the colours in the trees. What is the shrub/tree with the 4 petalled white flowers towards the end please, I saw one in a park the other day & loved it & wasn't sure what it was?

What a beautiful natural looking garden. The 'Stonehenge' is really well done, and the sculptured stone work of the duck or swan is done by someone very talented. It is the natural look which shows off the sculptures well.

Several types with E. x Nymansay being one of the best. I think this one might be the species E. glutinosa though judging by the small leaves.

An interesting place. I should think it looks good at any time of year. Loved the photos, esp the lichens

Lovely photos, thanks for sharing them - loved the lake reflections also, and the great big Swallow sculpture.

Thanks Fractal , I found a couple of photos of the one I saw, it looks very similar to the one in your photo but maybe a different variety? :- Strange I've never noticed it anywhere before & now I've seen it twice in one week - well once in real life & once 'virtually' on here!

Is that a swallow Bess? I was way out in that case. I thought the beak looked flattish.

Well, I wasn't 100% sure Cherry, but it was the nearest thing I could come up with!

I couldn't work the link either, but I saw enough and did not worry. I suppose you like to know these things though Steve.
