Hi folks, not sure if I'm putting this in the appropriate part of the forum, but been out in the garden today and noticed a small peculiarly wet area which I hadn't watered for days. Been out this evening and it's definitely spread. I can only conclude it is probably a water leak but am so reluctant to phone them as I have lavished 5 years hard work and a lot of money on my garden and hate the thought of a large area being dug up. I'm going to reconsider tomorrow, but if I do have a leak and they come out to fix it and damage things, am I entitled to any compensation? I am so tempted to leave it at a self-watering garden might be quite handy at the moment!

Hope it doesn't turn out to be a big job nerene, we have a 'self-watering' end of the garden due to a combination of a slope, high water table, clay & an undergound stream in the field behind & even that area is quite dry at the moment. I suppose if it is a leak then it will depend on who is responsible for the pipes at that point & maybe you can claim on your insurance?

does sound like a leak as it's been so dry, good luck and I hope it doesn't cause too much work in the garden
