I likje oddities in my garden. I have a chainsaw carving of a green man. The person that made it made a wee mistake on one of his eyes so it looks like he's either waking up or going to sleep

There's a couple of guys around here do chainsaw carving - one is sometimes at Leominster market, so I have a couple of birds, but in the porch as they're not treated to go outside. I've got quite a lot of ceramic animals etc (family keep giving me more than I want!) I really like the big willow dragonflies and so on, but they don't last many years so I haven't got one right now - haven't been to any local craft fairs this summer to get more. I like your metal chickens. I would like another pretty solar light string myself - I murdered the last lot by accident, while deadheading with sharp secateurs...

Good job they were solar & not plug-in Bess! I've got one of those big wicker dragonflies on a stick, we've had it a few years & put it in the shed in the winter otherwise it would probably have blown away by now. I have a few stone/resin animals dotted around the garden - I only tend to like realistic-looking ones & I've got frogs, squirrels, tortoises, rabbits & a dog that I can think of plus a few things on metal sticks, flowers, birds etc.

We've got quite a few solar colour changing lights dotted around the garden, plus a string of butterfly colour changing solar lights on the the shed bought from Sainsbury's I think... the shed window is decorated with transfer butterflies. Metal chicken from Amazon as was the green man with ivy hair.
