It's a really good strong rose grindle, brilliant all-rounder, that & 'You're Beautiful' are the best ones I have I think.

How lovely, there isn't much in flower up here just now, the rain has ruined the roses. Lots of signs of autumn now too.

So right Rosie. The rowan berries were being eaten by the birds before I left.

The rowan at the bottom of our garden is stripped of berries already.

Everything does look a bit battered here too but some of the roses are getting their 'second wind' & coming to life again - just badly marked on the outer petals by the rain.

My roses aren't exactly sparkling, either - a lot of buds got ruined by the weather. My two old reliables 'Eternal Flame' and 'Duchesse de Chambord' are just about respectable. I just bought this Caryopteris and Potentilla, they look nice with the Nicotiana but not going to stay there! Rather lovely white autumn crocus coming up. The big pink ones are nice but these are so pure looking. Somewhat surprised to spot a levitating chicken in the background of this... Chrysanths courtesy of Morrisons last year!
