Dull & breezy today but I went out to take a few pics. as I did remember this month that a fresh month has started. General view down the back garden, very overgrown but I like the 'wild' look although I will have to cut back/divide some things & am thinking about what to do about the huge 'Joie de Vivre' rose on the right which is the one which keeps blowing over in the strong winds, it's propped up & tied up at the moment so not too bad. This is the far end of the garden, there is actually a pond in the middle of the photo (full of plants & frogs) This is part of the wildlife area at the back fence behind the pond (that's a compost bin not a real beehive) This is a pic. of the Kiftsgate rose which is growing over the dead ivy stump at the back of the garden, when it's sunny it has a lovely scent & is covered with bees & hoverflies. These are some irises behind the pond which you can't see unless you walk around the back of the garden, can't remember the name though, think I bought it from Stonyford Gardens a few years ago.
