The garden's looking very damp, battered & limp this morning:- - it will need a bit of tidying up today! Begonia on the patio:- Buddleia, taken before the heavy rain:- Fatsia on the patio:-

Your garden looks lovely SueA but I suppose the heavy rain must have affected it a bit. It will recover after some nice sunny days

I've had an email from tinypic saying that all my photos on there will be lost soon. That doesn't bother me because I only used it to get them on here. I upload them straight from my computer now However, all the photos I've put on here via tinypic will soon disappear.
Some more straight from my computer ...

This hardy Fuchsia 'Margaret' has grown to about 8 feet tall ... It grows up the side of a Perspex shelter and I think that protects it in the winter from the worst weather. It is towering above the roof of the shelter.

Love that rose grindle! I've had a white 'Christmas' hellebore flowering on the patio too, never had that before at this time of year. Lots of apples on the little Jonagold tree by the ornamental gate, probably little codling moth grubs in some though.

It's strange how plants can flower on and off out of season grindle and SueA. I recently had a flowering Bergenia Primula and Weigela, and I've had flowers on an Anemone japonica since July.
Fuchsia 'Trudy Davro' :-
Hydrangea paniculata :-
I took the next photo during a heavy downpour but you can't really see the rain. It was very heavy ! :-
