The flowers are a pure white and very small 5-10mm. When the nuts are dropping the road and our driveway is covered in them.
Bare feet it's impossible to walk on them as they are very hard and sharp.

keith I got mixed up with the Swamp Bloodwood, Corymbia ptychocarpa. The gumnuts are very large and I brought some back here for interest. I don’t know why it is called a Swamp Bloodwood, as they grow in dry areas.
