New decade & new year, still some flowers hanging on here in the soggy soil. Roses gamely trying to bloom, haven't pruned any of them yet as it's been too wet until the last few days & I hate to cut off any flowers:- A confused viburnum has flowers & berries together:- A few of the primulas are flowering in pots & baskets:- This Christmas hellebore has been flowering off & on for months, looks a bit tatty but still pretty:- Red valerian, it has no idea what month this is! :- Wallflower starting to flower:-

I think some of the plants think it's spring already, the birds do - I've seen collared doves & blackbirds getting very frisky in the garden, well the males are but the females are doing their best to give them the brush off!

Wow.. you're all WELL advanced compared to me. I've got some dwarf daffodil bulbs pushing their stalks up through the soil by an inch or two, but that's IT

Make a ‘cactii’ thread if you wish Eli. You will have a lot coming into flower soon.

There is a 'cacti' thread already in the 'Indoor Gardening' section but you can start a new one if you want to - yours are 'indoor' & 'outdoor' aren't they Eli depending on the weather & 'whether' they're in your shelters or not.

I have never looked at this because it doesn’t move on. Maybe Eli will post in it and we will start reading it again as it will come to our notice. Looking forward to a good cactus season wherever you post the pics Eli.

Thank you SueA, I didn't know about that thread. I'll have a look. Yes some of my cacti are placed outside sometimes in the summer but the flowering ones are inside a shelter, which is actually down the garden
Thank you Cherry, it seems people on this site don't grow house plants. I have a few so maybe I'll show some photos of them. I do hope my cacti will perform better than last year. I have lost a few too but want to try and replace them if I can (sometime !)
