a few plants giving me pleasure. in the conservatory a Lithops. flower only lasts a day but it is so pretty. Scopolia carnicola a good shady lady emergng 2 weeks ago. In flower yesterday Scilla bifolia, 2 leaves as the name suggests and its common name is Alpine squill. I also have the pink version. Another little blue job is Chionodoxa, Glory of the snow.

Looking at the photos from last week and what the plants are like now they have come on in leaps and bounds. Eremurus then and now My Camelia in tight bud and now Drive strip in February Drive strip now. This Daphne odora Limelight, is perfuming the garden nicely too. Epimedium 'Black Sea' And Erythronium Purple King, doing much better now the border iris is not growing over it.

Meant to comment Geumgrower, you have worked hard on your bit of heaven. Looking very good and such a tidy greenhouse too.
I have several named varieties of Erythroniums and I also have the 3 you have. Though Joanna is rather 'pasty' when compared to her description. Perhaps she gets bleached by the sun.

@balc what do you do with your Hyacinth bulbs when they finish. We plant ours out ion the garden for the future. The only Erythromiums I have are Pagoda and White Beauty. None of the others have ever survived. We do have a fair number of different Epimediums, but they are not really in flower yet. Probably ought to cut the old leaves off to expose the buds.

geumgrower As there are always fewer of them & their foliage dies down quite quickly I leave them in their pots. This year I have more & all the ones grouped in just one pot will have to come out. Not sure what to do with them yet, I may put them in square tub with little in it or I may take them to to plant in the gardens of my church as I have done with lots & lots of Daffodils especially.
