Noticing lots of butterflies this last week or two. I tend to get mixed up a little as to which varieties but all are welcome here. The valerian seems to have more than the buddleia for some reason.

Don't you have the site saved on your favourites sweetpea ? I never have to log in, I just click on the tab and it opens the site on the menu page. Of course eli but somehow it just went pear shaped. Sorted now though, I think hope.

Everything with ProBoards seems to have changed recently re signing/logging on and not just this site either. It may just be me getting more doolally but I keep having to sort out new passwords to such an extent that I'm having to do a database to collate them and keep up to date as my little notebook is getting so full of changes making it hard to check when required for this or that. Technically a PITA I believe is the term

I first saw it years ago at a factory in Sussex. Didn't even know what it was back then but I collected some seeds and had it more or less since although as I said, no white.

Monday my grandad went to the High Street cobblers to collect his shoes. The cobbler said. ''When did you drop them in mate?'' Grandad said. ''Wednesday, March the 10th, 1949.'' The Cobbler said. "You're having a laugh, mate. This shop has changed hands 17 times and we don't keep records anyway. Where's your ticket?'' Grandad opened his wallet and produced the ticket in perfect condition. The cobbler can't believe it, but went down the cellar stairs and searched an hour for the shoes. He came back up the stairs all covered in cobwebs with a pair of shoes and said to grandad. ''Are these them?' Grandad says ''Yes!'' all excited. The cobbler said ''They'll be ready Friday!''

Chatting to a guy at Tesco today mentioned the weather and he says he slept in the garden last night. I couldn't open window too much or we would get a pigeon fly in. One already wanders in through the house if the door is left open.

I was only thinking the other day that I hadn't seen a grasshopper for many years, and then, today, I saw this tiny one in my conservatory. It was on the arm of a chair and flew up to the window, so you can only see a silhouette.
Gosh Eli you have got clean windows I can only see one tiny spot.
