that's quite a few mice rosie I've used the friendly traps at our last house too each morning I used to take it on our walk and let them go 2 of the little darlings had already expired, one in the garden, one in the polytunnel. I don't like snappy traps as we caught one by its foot once. But for rats I also would use a snappy trap Geranium. Graham took them for a ride in the car to the top of the hill and released them into Aberdeenshire . (The county border is around 3 miles from here)

I hope everything goes well Geranium We decided to buy some humane mouse traps before we make the final decision on getting a moggie, in 2 days we have caught and relocated 12 mouses!(yes I know it should be mices ) they are such cute wee beasties but so destructive. Graham took them about 3 miles away and let them go, he's made 6 trips so far

Did a bit more digging to continue the flower bed. I'm finding lots of congested bulbs and unfortuately, willowherb stems and roots.

I have to admit that I really don't like them or Azalea rosie so I've never really taken any notice of them, or been in the large garden there either. With a reputation to uphold they must have some worth the trip down. They have the national collection of Rhododendrons and post them world wide - they're quite a big outfit when it comes to those - not sure if they have the Azalea collection too. You could make a day of it and visit the Dundee food and flower festival while your in the area..ok maybe a large area 20miles. You could always drop an email to (modern day plant hunter) Kenneth Cox who owns the nursery if you're looking for something in particular, I'm sure if they didn't have it they could get it! - Have you seen his books..Garden Plants For Scotland - think there's a veg one also? Hmm we may go one day. We've been to the Dundee show a couple of times. We aren't wanting anything specific, Graham just likes them, he likes big plants
