The forward cat of the two ferals I have has suddenly decided that my dogs are fairly cat friendly, especially the young one who knew Killer Cat very well, and has come up to the house to try to get in. I went down to see if all was well at his comfortable abode at 2200. This is no mean feat, as I didn't even take the car down to its shed when I got home from the concert because of the distance in the dark. I am not scared of the dark, but after getting out of the car, I can't see for the worst bit of the walk. I am not giving in because he has everything a well looked after cat needs, except a warm fire and cat beds such as provided by Louise. He is making a terrible noise at each window in turn and both doors. Meantime, Aquila still cannot be touched or seen for long. She comes out into the sun with Atticus though.

The idea of a feral cat appeals to me, if it was happy to live in the barn and keep the mouse numbers down I'd be happy. If it decided it would prefer to be a house cat I'm not sure I wouldn't be too soft and let it in.

It sounds like he wants to be included in your life, Cherry, it's an honour for such a cat to want you.

I am not giving in or he will want to come in and out at silly times and the dogs will bark in the night. There is nothing feral about Atticus. He was a fighter and top of the heap I think and these cats were cleared out. I think he was the original, because it is suspected that Aquila is his daughter. She really is a true feral. Funny that I can pick Atticus up and if he is alarmed (the tractor for instance), he would never scratch to get down. Killer Cat used to bite when he had had enough pats. I never got a warning.

I don't think he'd be a lot of trouble, for some reason he's just wanting/needing extra attention. I think if an animal trusts you enough to be like that they deserve our attentions.

Millman Dylan is doing well, now road walking and almost accepting cars, not too sure about vans and buses, but at least he doesn't head for the gate now. Started training on Thursday and loved being with the other pups, our trainer is also a behaviour consultant, excellent and makes the classes enjoyable.

It sounds like Jack and Jess had to wait for their vaccinations before going out and it will be a little harder to work with two.
I think husband wishes he had not kept Sammy, although he loves him to bits. Two of them 'pack' but one was one of the family. Well I suppose Brodie still is, as she likes her space and time away from Sammy.

And what about 4 . Its funny to see that my Lola is top bitch over Molly the lab x . If Lola decides something is good enough to bark at they all do . I walked Diamond up to school on Thursday, she still bolts, or stands still in the middle of the road (so i have to pick her up to cross : she'll get there soon (i hope).
