T he connection between Tel's ankles and rugby is still lost on me. The co-op is closing and selling off all their wine This is a £4.50 treat for tonight.

Thats a good price WF ...let us know how you enjoy it....I find it a touch on the "thin" side ....not a great lover of French wines (well not the stuff they send over here...lol)

Tonight its a Chilean Pinot Noir from The Wine Society (OH had a subscription to them for his birthday). Very good ;D

On offer at Tesco (£4.43) Hardys Cabernet Sauvignon VR. Reasonable 'standard' red.

I've had some good ones and some not so good ones, I'll let you know how this one is. Which is your country of preference? Generally, Australian, Italian....some South African and Chilean...Californian for easy drinking (well, extra easy )

I had a feeling you would say Australian, I only have to take the cork out of the bottle to get a hangover. I'm rather partial to a drop or two of Chilean though
