The date of the equinox does vary. I learnt about it at primary school. I really do believe school was better in the old days.

It is raining here. The dogs and I get a great shock when we have to go out in the rain. We are not used to it.

You are not alone Steve, I thought the shortest day was always on the 21st. The link grindle put up makes a lot of sense. We always have friends round on the winter solstice (any excuse for a party

) I'm going to keep quiet about the date being wrong ;D
