My granddaughter in Australia, soon to be back in Scotland, has a cocker spaniel called Wallace, after William Wallace of course.

Coincidently Lesley, I had an email from my sister in Oz. She has just had a knee replacement op and is out hobbling around. Apparently they wouldn't let her out until she could bend. I wasn't too sure what she had to bend, probably leg and not iron bar. Hope you are running 4 minute miles soon. Sweetpea, you have to be able to bend it 90 degree's, and by jolly does it hurt, has she been in a lot of pain ??[/quote] Lesley, here is extract from sister's email: Out of hospital now. Have had my knee replacement surgery. Staying with the girls right now as it is closer for physio & hydro. Wouldn't recommend having a knee replacement. I had to go under two more times to get my knee manipulated as there wasnt enough bend in it. (They only let you home when you can bend it 90 degrees. My knee is still quite swollen. Pain killers make a big difference. Just a matter of time and exercises to get back on track. Glad the op is over. Will now be back on line. Talk soon.Seems to be as you say, 90 degrees

I'm pleased to read that Les is home again - much better than being stuck in hospital! Take it slowly, Les.
