I was in the pub with the Mrs last night and I said, " I love you."
She said, " Is that you or the beer talking?"
I replied, " I'ts me. I was talking to the beer,"

After enjoying several pints of this last week I can justifiably say that I can recommend it. At 4.6 silky and dark I recommend it. The alternative was Hobgoblin but not quite as nice.

Interesting label on that one Steve!
I'll be looking out for both that and Dark Side Of The Moose too Merlin. Both sound good!

Jennings bitter tonight, nothing special from a beer point of view. Reminds me though, of a nice holiday in Cumbria.

There are so many micro-breweries now producing beer that we could only dream of when teenagers, Trouble is the price was a lot less then. Tel have you ever had a go at brewing your own?

I did brew my own from scratch years ago, still have the equipment up in the loft, i told longs i may start again but using the brewing kits instead of buying all the separate ingredients. Have not managed to drag myself down to the brew shop yet.
