daitheplant if you could see the damage that stuff does to the woodwork in bars in Devon you might think twice. indeed some bars stopped selling it because of that!
My girlfriend at the time when I lived there used to have half of rough but I would only have a bitter top.
Had a bad experience with scrumpy (the drink not scrumpy on the forum

)so never touched it again.
I also knew a few people who went bad ways with it two of them committing suicide.
Still, all things in moderation I suppose.

I'll get around to it eventually

Sweetpea, when I were a teenager living in Newport, we used to have a pub at the top of town where all the scrumpy wallahs would hang out. Not to put to fine a point on it, they would have a skinful, then go outside and shove their fingers down their throats.

Then go back inside and start all over again. It was disgusting.

I used to drink Manns top or Newcastle Brown in my younger days, couldn`t manage either now.
