When I cut my pelargoniums back last year I stuck all the bits suitable for cuttings in water, they are still there now. All are healthy but are showing no signs of rooting. Can I do something to make them root?

Just leave them WLF - I am sure they will root soon I have some doing exactly the same

I didn't know you could root them in water, I thought they'd rot, I'll have to remember that this year

Can I do something to make them root? Ooops - I should have gone to specsavers I missed the bit about being in water WLF Sorry :-[I have never rooted cuttings that way. I have had pelargonium cuttings in compost that haven't rooted till the following Spring though

I'll be interested to see if it works Geranium. I'll be starting with new ones this year, I didn't bother to save any in the autumn

I did - but I must be honest - the ones in the greenhouse don't look too happy. They might produce new growth later, I hope.

the ones I had were 3 years old, nothing special, just seeded ones and I got fed up with them, so I thought I'd treat myself to some nicer ones this year
