Well I definitely am and getting worse. Would anyone like to go on a diet and just list the amount of weight lost in a nominated period? I could do with someone to bounce off, if you know what I mean. Encouragement might have sounded better. I am starting a diet on 2nd January.

Summer before last I lost 1 and 1/2 stone but I've put a stone back on. My clothes are starting to feel tight again so I want to loose some weight. I won't be giong on a strict diet. I'm going to stop eating too much chocolate, and hope some excercise in the garden will help aswell. Good luck Cherry

I lost 5lbs by simply stopping eating any cakes or biscuits, each time i fancied something sweet i made a sweet and creamy coffee instead and without even realising it i lost the weight !
It wasn't until November that i realised my clothes were too big for me and that i realised i'd lost the weight.

Me I am ATM . I tend to go up and down and ATM I'm putting weight on again (But i am just sat around the house lately I hate going out in the cold brrr). One thing though i am eating less than i did in the summer??? I'm down to one meal a day (bad me i know ). One thing i would like to do for myself after the new years hectic activity is over is stop smoking , but i find this hard as OH and our friend (who may as well live here!) both smoke :S.

If I may make a suggestion that might help. Send all your chocolates, sweet things like cakes and biscuits to me. I do not put weight on so can help by eating your surplus. Better that surely than it all going to waste. I could do with putting on some weight but if you want to keep your sweeties I will understand.

Full with all the kids chocolate (they got tons and tons), all mine has vanished I dread to think where .

Spot on Louise ....of course not everyone has this Yes Cherry, I have managed to stay on an "even keel". We have been away quite a bit this year and as I expected, have put on a few pounds. I'm not going to beat myself up about it; it will soon be time to start work on the allotment, and off they will come ;D
