I only have 180 under cover, but i do have room now to grow around 200 without covers, but the majority of those are for seed and stock plants. I will keep on taking cuttings until the end of March, then in May, i sort out the ones i am going to plant. Those i think are not up to scratch i give to anyone on the allotments that want them.

Strange how we all grow the same plants differently. I'll take cuttings up to mid April and know that they'll be flowering early August for me, yet you take cuttings earlier and have them flowering for early September.

You can have as many as you want tel,I have taken the growing tips out of about 3 dozen tonight to use as mother plants.I wasn'nt sure about this method but with not having a lot of choice last year I tried it and was very pleased with the results you can easily get 6/8 plants from 1 and use that initial plant as a pot tuber for next year.
