Well the cheap polycarbonate panels on my greenhouse that have been slowly melting away on the roof panels over the past few years are now flapping in the wind and disappearing before my eyes. But not to worry , thankfully I saved the replacement roof panels until now, just hope the rest of the greenhouse doesn't fly away meantime. anybody else have damage from the recent high winds ?

The only damage we've had is the tv arial blowing off the chimney. So far my greenhouse at home is OK but I haven't checked the one at the allotment yet. It is very windy out there again tonight.

A tree which was hollow and rotten through and through fell down It represents more firewood, although it is corky and fibrous it is so rotten. The woodpeckers like it still, so they will have to start on another. This was in the woods anyway.

I spoke too soon, my trellis along the back is just short of horizontal, looks like it will need replacing along with the posts as a couple have snapped in two

A couple of fence panels blown down, just grateful the two that blew out were below the greenhouse.

That was fortunate Tel We have been lucky and had no damage, despite gusts of up to 65 mph. While walking past the lottie the other day OH noticed the cold frame blowing around...so went and battened it down.....no particular damage, just a twisted frame....which can be sorted.

I have not been down to the allotment yet lou, i dread to think what state the wood frame greenhouse is in, the glass was always blowing out last winter

The garden next to ours down there has deposited most of its greenhouse glass onto my garden ...the greenhouse itself has actually moved about 8-10 inches ....fancy that......

My bird table was blown over and damaged beyond repair and bird food scattered everywhere I've salvaged one of the feeders and hung it in a tree but I expect the squirrels will wreck it.

In a way that was lucky Tel. You might be able to still use the panels and fit them back in. There will be some mending to be done. Could have been worse.

I haven't been outside yet today so not sure how the garden is, i lay the bird table down ages ago and just left it as the table has come away from the top after the last strong winds.
At least your greenhouse is ok Tel, it looks like the actual fence panels are ok.

I've ordered a new bird table ;D I wanted another Meripac table so that I could reuse my squirrel baffle and chose Soar Mills Seeds, nr Salcombe, Devon to order from. I only mention their name because of the excellent service they give. I emailed them at 10am with a couple of questions, they rang me at 10.45 with their answers, I ordered over the phone, they will despatch items today, and they should be with me on Tuesday The birds will be pleased, and if their delivery arrives on time, so will I ;D
