Good shots Steve. I like the one with the Spanish City in....gives it a better perspective ;D Yes, I agree. What is surprising is that the source of the beams comes from next to St Mary's Lighthouse to the north shining back towards the Spanish City. The beams go past the dome getting narrower and narrower as they recede. I wonder how much further past they can be seen!

I think they look great. Quirky, but different. I am sick of the fireworks and laser light shows, although these are laser lights I expect, but they are different.

Blimy they are good and i can't believe the Spanish City is still there , my Mam, sister Margy and me used to go to Whitley Bay and Cullercoats on the train from Newcastle most Sundays ;D
