Anything I can do to force my amaryllis to produce offsets? I've had 3 bulbs that are about the size of baseballs already but no offsets! I've had them for close to 8 years and all the other amaryllis I have has grown into large clumps.
These 3 weird ones don't seem to care they just grow larger but no babies. All of the bulbs I got are in the ground so they got all the space they need wonder why those 3 don't have offsets.

Don't think you can do anything about the "lack of babies" Jrae...its in their "genes" ....Over here we have to grow them in pots, although there are a few varieties coming on the market suitable for planting outside..
