Yes he lives in an inside (Very large) rabbit cage, I'm hoping to get him a friend in the next few weeks (Ive reserved a chocolate girl with the breeder). I'm sure they will enjoy going out in the grass in the summer so I'll have to get some good photos (With flowers in the background of cause). He's an African Pygmy Hedgehog ;D. (The mess on the table is down to OHs hobby woodwork :

Are his eyes really red? If he's African, does he need to hibernate/

His eyes are pinky red yes due to his colouring, they shouldnt hibernate but will try to if its too cold (My boy tried to do this as i was really cold upstairs when we had the snow, we have a coal fire too so heating isnot on 24/7). Thankfully he woke up when i put him in front of the fire

If they get on they will more than likely have a litter, ive read they are hard to raise so i shall have to see how things go.

Some lovely photos, I'm pleased it's not a competition, I'd hate to have to choose.

They have them where I buy my bird food. They are asking £135.00 each for them. I was surprised at how fast they were selling.

Hmmm, i hope the people who buy these are nicer than the people who buy other small animals (hamsters, goldfish, cats, dogs etc) and don't treat them nicely I'm being a cynic, mean and nasty, ignore me

They are expensive but they are worth it much better than a hamster they are so intelligent and inquisitive . (I dislike people who treat animals with cruelty too Louise)
