I have no idea what this plant is which likes the propagator, but does not leave much room for other plants coming along. The photos show the leaves and the red veins underneath.

Cherry - did WLF send you any of her begonias? I wondered that too Esther, the leaves look very much like Begonia grandis If it is it could be put in the garden now as its a hardy perennial.

I am thrilled to bits. I thought WF's hardy begonia was not growing for me. Thankyou Esther, Peony and Grindle. I will harden it off gradually.
