Looks a nice day today, had some awful weather last week. We had a flash flood down the drive and we had to battle to keep the water out of the house, we made it by maybe 1/8th of an inch.

Everything was covered in silt and horrible scummy foam

You were lucky there then Rosie to keep it out of the house, do you live near a river? It always frightens me when you see flooded homes, it would put me off living near water even though I'd love to -if you see what I mean!
Drizzly start here & I thought it was going to be a washout but it turned out to be a lovely sunny afternoon.
