has anyone else had this problem? most of the ones I have in containers have succumbed, I've had to pick off most of the leaves and now I've read I need to spray with something like roseclear 3 just wondered if there's anything else I need to do

If this post goes through.... would be interested in any other ideas, apart from Grindles....I'm planning on putting heuchera in my container displays this year....so if its a probem with containerized plants....I won't bother. I wonder if periods of dryness are the problem here?

heucheraholics.co.uk/heuchera_rust.htmlLou this is what I found and it seems it is more the wet than dry weather. I've yet to hear of anyone else having this problem, maybe they just don't like where I've planted them

I just won't grow it, except for one green one called Heuchera micrantha 'Ruffles'. This one stays healthy and roots easily when it becomes leggy. I have had bothers with the coloured ones and they often die. They do look very pretty in arrangements but they have to be tough to survive with me.

I've had a large shallow bowl of different Heucheras for 3 years now and never had a rust problem

I haven't tried seeds from the lime green one yet

I had a customer bring in some infected leaves last year for id. I hadn't actually come across this before but checked it out and found it to be this rust. I informed the customer and told them to remove all effected leaves and spray the rest.
