Here are some more flowers open in my garden at the moment. Narcissus cyclamineus 'Toto' Corydalis solida 'Beth Evans' - for Steve! Bergenia cordifolia Clematis cirrhosa 'Lansdowne Gem' - this has been in flower since November!

Yes. George Baker is redder. I'll take his photo when he bothers to reappear!

yes, that's the one Geranium, do you find the plant a bit straggly? my Lansdowne Gem has too. When do you prune yours back? it's taking over it's spot and needs a good trim ;D

That ribes is definitely a straggly shrub - I'm not at all sure about it. Pruning the cirrhosas? After they've flowered. I'm going to have to deal with 'Freckles' which has outgrown its space, and poor 'Wisley Cream' which doesn't look too good after the severe weather.

Here's one of my containers with the tulips up and doing - they're 'Early Harvest'. They're actually more orange than the photo shows.

Are those tulips very early? Mine are only showing leaves at the moment. They look lovely with the blue pansies.

They are supposed to be early ones - but I think they're even earlier than Parkers catalogue said! ;D

They certainly are early tulips. That wall must be quite hot and sheltered.

It is the house wall, Cherry, but the ones in the boxes along the boundary are doing well, too.

Thanks - I grew them last year too - only, if you remember, the badgers ate most of them! They were from Parkers.

I'm really chuffed - last year I planted a new plant (to me) Ypsilandra thibetica . It's evergreen, and it likes a partly shaded position. Today I found three flowers on it! ;D ;D Next to this plant is a group of Pulmonaria 'Donald Ward' which are doing really well.
