Foydie, we are taking up Geranium's space here, so get started. You could carry on from where you started as the pics are already in a chronological order. It is nice to have a young family interested in gardening and we are all here for you. ;D

I have never seen Iris bucharica before. There seem to be a lot of flowers per stem and the sword leaves are very different. Rather nice.
Is Verbena hastata tidier in its habits than bonariensis, or does it seed around like mad? It looks prettier. I am still pulling out V. bonariensis plants.

Thank you all - yes, the Iris bucharica has a much longer flowering period than other irises, Cherry. I've just looked and it's coming up again, so that's good! V. hastata doesn't seed around at all, more's the pity. I had a pink one and a white one too, but they didn't survive the winter of 2009. I'm waiting to see if this one reappears now.

I forgot about that Iris, wonder which pot mine are in? Lovely garden schemes. My C seiboldii is also slow to develop. its 3 yrs old now.
Have you had rain again today?
