My mum bought me a pack of two, Propagators ? I'm not entirely sure how to best and most effectively use them ? They're not special, just cheap things mum managed to get them for 75p for the pair which is awesome. But should i plant seeds in them ? Keep them inside or outside ? Just a bit confused on how to use them and what they're good for... Sorry i must seem really stupid haha

You are definitely not stupid Twiams. The propagators will be more use in late winter/early spring or even in the autumn. Some clever gardeners may give you a more satisfactory answer.

What size are they? Are they small enough to go on the windowsill? If so ,that is the best place for them. You can use them for sowing seeds and taking cuttings in the spring. You can do this earlier in propagators. If you have a greenhouse you can use them in there.I could give you a much fuller answer but you will have to give more details about them

here they are (: they're quite small as you can see, i don't have a green house so i guess the window is the best place for them ! (:

Yes put them on the windowsill next March and sow seeds in them. Are they big enough to hold half seed trays? If not, use margerine tubs .I use them a lot. Just cut holes in the base for drainage.Later on in the year you can use them for taking cuttings of geraniums, fuchsias and several other things. For these use margerine tubs or pots.

They do work Twiams, especially if the radiator is under the window as it is in my house.
