My bulb order from J. Parker's arrived last week, they're all in a box in the cupboard under the stairs for now as it's the coolest place & the little free azalea plant is sitting in it's pot outside waiting for me to find a home for it!

I visited a near-by garden centre today and went a bit 'mad' ! lol I spent LOADS of money on plants (I've been feeling rather 'down' lately and needed something to lift my spirits ... well that's as good an excuse as any ) I can't remember all the plant names at the moment, and they are still in the car anyway, so tomorrow I'll make a list and take some photos to show you

Since we had a dry day I was able to take my new plants out of the boot and made a note of their names. No photos - my camera batteries have gone flat
Lychnis 'Petite Jenny' Lavender 'Alba' Coreopsis 'Presto' Coreopsis 'Rosea American Dream' Pelargonium 'Piny Pinks' Leucanthemum 'Lacrosse' Gypsophylla 'Pretty Maid' (that one is a replacement for the one that died !) Centaurea 'Amethist in Snow' Penstemon 'Arctic Fox' Rhodanthemum 'Marrakeche' Loropetalum chinensis 'Fire Dance' ... it's in a tub and quite a size and it cost £20 but there was only one of them there so I couldn't leave it on it's own in the garden centre. Better for it to come home with me where it will not feel so lonely
Phew !! That's enough for now

That's a lovely collection Eli, I'm sure the Lorapetalum will be happier with you now you've adopted it!
