I love Of Mice & Men too, made me cry when I read it years ago. If you liked that twiams you should like Steinbeck's other books such as Grapes of Wrath & East of Eden, the only thing is they're quite thick books so you might lose interest but they're great stories & the films made of them are really good too. If you haven't read it already when you were at school To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee is a similar style book & easy to read with a touching story. I don't read much fiction although I have got a stack of books under the table to get through, I don't stick to any particluar author just buy books which catch my eye. I read a lot of autobiographies. Try My Family & Other Animals by Gerald Durrell if you haven't read that, it's about his childhood on Corfu & the wildlife he found there, funny & interesting. I remember my son reading To Kill A Mockingbird when he was around 6 Sue, and we had a looong talk about why some people aren't very nice to others. Now that a bit older and has read most of Steinbeck's books for school he's turned into a little human rights lawyer. ;D

50 shades of grey is supposed to be good, but what people get out of reading a dulux paint chart I'll never know! ;D This book is flying off the shelves, but the small snippets I have read have not enticed me to buy it. I will get it when it is in the charity shops. I've got this as an audio book and so i listen to it just when i don't have the time or brain power to actually read but i want to if that makes sense ? when im in the car or traveling usually as reading makes me ill or before bed when my eyes are to heavy to stay awake hehe. ;D I've enjoyed the general storyline although it's basically and adults version of the twilight saga, as i know many other people have said before However the book would still be a pleasant read without the added ... erotica ? haha, it's just i don't care about that bit im just enjoying the tail of the romance between the too people more than anything, i'm about to start the third in the series, and i guess without all the sexual parts there would only be one book whatever floats your goat i guess.

I've only ever read one autobiography and it was a Michael Mcintyre one, on an audio book read by Michael Mcintyre himself, and his voice is what made me enjoy it really but i may try to read another as im not convinced if i enjoy them yet haha.

My daughter used to work where they made the Talking Classics. She got us the whole lot. Trouble was I always fell asleep somewhere in the middle of the story and of course I couldn't go back to it unless at the start again so the cycle went on and.....
