We did eventually get snow last night & it was an inch or two thick this morning but then it drizzled & washed it all away. Very cold wind, some sunshine & now grey again.

It snowed a little again this afternoon. It is a wet snow, but I am sure it really belongs to you Sue. We don't want it. There is more forecast.

Our radio forecast now comes from the met office instead of Weatherquest and it is laughable. Last week we were told hill fog and the forecaster was asked to explain if it was Beeston Bump at Sheringham or Gas Hill in Norwich. Of course there are no hills although Southery, Hilgay and Ely are built on "islands".

most of the snow here melted during the sun yesterday, but the overnight frost has made this in to nasty black ice on the roads, bad news for most of us but our son works in vehicle repair
