That's such a shame jellibeans but good news that your husband is now back on an even keel & you'll be able to do the trip later.

Like seaburn I liked your post jellibeans because of your thoughtful "brood"! I hope your husband gets better soon & gets over the fright. I went through a similar experience once. I also hope your op goes well for you as well in January & you can go on your trip to Paris!

Thanks everyone for your kind good wishes. balc2 thanks I'm sure he will get over it , it's happened so many times over the last 20 years but nevertheless each time is very scary. This time was made more so because we thought that the medication had it all under control as his last and most serious episode was 6 years ago and he was hospitalised, it took 2 days to get his heart to behave. This time it was more scary as it caught us completely by surprise. Have a really fab time grindle, , yes we've both raised a kind and thoughtful brood haven't we.

It was a brilliant day thanks Grindle. Lots of interesting people to meet. Including Roy Lancaster, lovely chap and so enthusiastic. 3 lectures/talks. Dr Andrew Ward of Norwell nursery was excellent and had a plant stall with lots of interesting and sensibly priced plants. Dr Peter Williams from York talked about the ongoing development of his 30 yr old garden. His garden is beautiful and I count him as a good friend. Lastly we had Nick Hamilton from Barnsdale talking about Geof's legacy and how Barnsdale continues to instruct and inspire gardeners. There were several other plants stalls there but I didn't buy anything as so many plants were silly prices or commonly available.

I spent yesterday afternoon helping to get our art room ready for an open day on Saturday. I have three things on display ! I didn't want to put any of them but my arm got twisted
