Congratulations Tel! Glad to hear that both Mum and baby are doing great To be quite honest I'm already a "grandaunt" if you could call it that at 30something, as my eldest brother's kids already have children of their own too. Now my bro's oldest grandchild is around 17 so I expect I'd be a great "grandaunt" when I get to my 40s

My youngest son is a close age to my grandson, making him an uncle at 3 yrs. His godson is 18 years old. My youngest son is 26.

Age doesn't seem to make any difference to the relationships. My younger son, the one who is 26, is very close to his big brother who is 49. The trust between them is remarkable.

My suggestion in naming the baby, was not met with a lot of enthusiasm, i do not understand why? Dahlia is a lovely name. ;D

You should have been sneakier Tel & suggested the name of one of your favourite dahlia varieties although I don't think they'd have gone for Bishop of Llandaff or Alf Ramsey either! ;D
