You can see why the people who raise 10,000 a year often don't name them until they go to the trial ground! And they have to be in their fourth year to trial them in a lot of places.

Pudsey is about 2 mile's from our allotments, Used to do a show at Pudsey Civic Hall a few years ago. The West Yorkshire Vegetable Society used to hold their annual show there. I think that that makes it all the more appropriate.

Anyone got any suggestions for a name, for this dahlia. Birkenshaw ? Star because of its centre Birkenshaw Star unless of course you think it looks more like a Sun, then it could be Birkenshaw Sun.
