I wanted to use the wheelbarrow for putting manure in for the girls to use manure to grow their tomatoes. It still had the soil and a little bit of manure in it. I gave up before because the soil was in hard clods. It wasn't by the time I had emptied my sprayers.
Mud pie anyone?
I can serve individual portions.
I didn't sow my wild seeds today. I am going to give the mud mix a chance to settle.

I didn't plant any tomatoes today but Pirate Yellow Wellies did.
I told her that the more worms that go into the tomato sack the more tomatoes she will have. She's a good girl and got stuck in. She got stuck in with filling the sack not that she got stuck in the manure.
Tuck it in.
Time to water it in.
1st tomato planted, That's good news.

Getting a bit annoyed with not being able to preview my posts. I don't like editing afterwards. As irritated as I am with the new upgrade additional extras (I just want purple don't care which exact shade! ) it is nothing compared with how I felt towards the snail that I caught in the act of munching on poor Arlene's leaves. |

The planting of the tomato which was demonstrated in textbook style was a superb lesson in how to hold the plant, etc. ML perhaps you would like to show this demonstration and add your superb comments on the importance of cotyledons and why you would choose the plant with them over the one without, on the 'tips' page. This will be handy for brand new gardeners.

Found another Slow Worm, under a slab that I was moving so that Dad could Rotavator. I waited until it had slid away and didn't move any more.

Massive SOS for poor Sammy Sparkle. He was growing really well and I don't know what happened but I am sure that he must have been splashed with something that wasn't water because well, the pictures say it all really.
Quite a few of the lower leaves had already come off but with all that glitter I didn't see it as a problem, I was just going to wait while it continued to grow and was planning on repotting after the last of the gold glitter leaves had fallen.
It really looks like it has been splashed with something other than water.
I am sure nothing deliberatly got splashed but having spent the last 6 months recovering from it's Christmas make up, I am upset because I think he is going to die.

It lives on the window ledge upstairs toilet. I know girls have been playing with water pistols. As water magically appeared on the ceiling in what could only be described as water jet pattern. with exhibit A being 2 water pistols lying beside sink. Girls ticked off but no joint confession. so not sure of culprits. I don't know if it was a cocktail of bathroom toilettries to make it smell nice or what.
I have seaweed plant food and Baby bio . Should I try either of these?
